Dr. Jyotsna Singh
Dr. Jyotsna Singh is a philosopher and cultural leader with a PhD in Philosophy from Delhi University. As founder and director of the Dara Shikoh Centre in Srinagar, she has created a pioneering space for youth engagement focused on the Himalayan region’s rich cultural and natural diversity.
Jonathan Granoff
Jonathan Granoff is President of the
Global Security Institute, Senior Advisor and UN Representative for the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, and a respected figure in international law. He served as a Temple of Understanding Board Member from 1995 to 2000.
We at the TOU are grateful to our religious NGO colleagues at the United Nations for this year’s events celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week, convened in person at the Church Center. In years past, we have been involved in breakfast meetings, large inclusive meetings inside the UN General Assembly Hall, and many other forms of celebration. This year, you can hear our dear colleague Dr. Beth Blissman, interviewed by Lead Integrity founder Dr. Azza Karam on her interfaith engagement. She represents the US-based Loretto Community at the United Nations, and we are grateful for years of collaboration.
