About this EJFA event:
Today, we are painfully aware that Big Ag in the US has indiscriminately used toxic chemicals in massive agricultural practices that have poisoned our land, farm workers, food, and low-income populations. Stealthily termed “Regenerative Agriculture,” companies such as Bayer, Syngenta, Cargill, etc., have taken over our food system to the detriment of all.
This Program seeks to posit alternatives for communities, religious and commercial, that are looking for ways to create community-based organic food production and distribution options. Today, we have reached a tipping point. Either we capitulate to the harmful takeover of our local markets by Big Ag and fast food giants, or we create a new paradigm: healthy, organic food produced by farmers and distributed locally to consumers.
