Dear Honorable Friends,
These past two years, I have given a few lectures on peace in Hartford, Connecticut at the Hartford University of Religion and Peace, one of the oldest theological seminaries in the USA.
I am humbled and pleased to tell you that at the special ceremony last night ten of the international graduating students of peace studies were given the “Ephraim Isaac Peace Leadership Prize”, each in the amount of $2,400. These students were six women coming from Tunisia, Malawi, Kenya, Indonesia, Greece, and Ukraine, and four men coming from Yemen, Tanzania, India, and Nigeria.
They are Muslim (Yemen, Malawi, and Tunisia), six Christian (Tanzania, India, Nigeria, Kenya, Greece, and Indonesia), and Jewish (Ukraine.)
We are planning to keep in touch, G-d willing.
