Meet our 2021 TOU interns! We are very pleased to welcome interns from around the world virtually this summer! During our first week, the TOU interns have been engaged in exploring the work of the Temple of Understanding and learning more about the United Nations as they begin to think about the topics they will be researching throughout the program. We are looking forward to participating in HLPF, hearing from speakers on numerous topics, experiencing religious site visits, and more over the next few weeks!

Grace Hudson, USA & United Kingdom

Hi! My name is Grace Hudson. I am 21 years old, and I am entering my final year studying International Relations and Psychology at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. I have grown up in both the United States and the United Kingdom. I am so excited to be working with the Temple of Understanding again this year, and to focus on my specific interests in children’s rights and education. Like the Temple of Understanding, I believe that core initiatives like food sovereignty, solving systemic inequality, women’s rights, and combating climate change are all fundamentally connected to how we treat and educate the world’s youth. Providing basic human rights like food, clean water, and healthcare and providing education that fosters individual growth and creativity are what we need to solve many major issues we face today.
