Hi! My name is Tejashwini Prashar. I am 19 years old. I am a second-year student at University College London (UCL), studying History, Politics, and Economics.

Gross income inequality is a current and historical global staple in our communities. To narrow this gap, we must look to combine structural and grassroots efforts in order to construct a sustainable policy.

I believe in the power of diplomacy to oversee this relationship, an idea that is at the very core of the UN. I aim to use my time as a Temple of Understanding Intern to delve into the various SDGs to devise an economy that works best for everyone.

Previously exploring this passion through policy research and literature, I hope to expand my outlook at the ToU – in terms of the micro issues I consider and the methods I adopt.

Hailing from India, living in Hong Kong for 4 years, and now studying in London has made me appreciate the invaluable nature of diverse perspectives. I also look forward to interacting with my fellow peers to better inform my interests and endeavours!
