Tselmeg Ulammandakh

Hi! My name is Tselmeg Ulammandakh. I am 18 years old and from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. During a short period in UB, where we had Model United Nations, I would be one of the kids working hardest to pass a resolution paper and get people to join my bloc.

Out of that passion for trying to fix the fictional problems set from the MUN organizations, came a passion to actually want to work in the UN, where I would be able to see the problems I “fix” actually get fixed. When I found Temple of Understanding, it seemed like too amazing of an opportunity to miss and I jumped at the chance of interning at the UN. Being from Mongolia, my biggest issue is the pollution in our capital city, Ulaanbaatar. There are very interesting reasons for its high toxicity level. Most of the time, I feel like most of the other issues in Mongolia, such as the high unemployment rate, the rapidly rising inflation rate, and the societal discrimination, get set aside by our politicians in order to work more on fixing the pollution problem. This is why I feel very strongly about finding a solution to our problem. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
